What is a drone

Unmanned aerial vehicle, or UAV, is an unmanned aircraft operated by radio remote control and self-provided program control. There is no cockpit, but the plane is equipped with autopilot, program control device and other equipment. Personnel on the ground, on board the ship or in the mother aircraft remote control station through radar and other equipment to track, locate, remote control, telemetry and digital transmission. It can take off like a normal aircraft under radio remote control or launch with booster rockets, or be carried into the air by a mother plane. When recovering, it can land automatically in the same way as ordinary aircraft landing process, or it can be recovered by remote control with parachute or interception. Can be used repeatedly. Widely used in air reconnaissance, surveillance, communications, anti-submarine, electronic interference and so on.
